Description

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Contract Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013, in Spector hall, 22 Reade Street, Main Floor, Borough of Manhattan, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on the following:

 

IN THE MATTER OF a proposed contract between the Criminal Justice Coordinator’s Office and Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services, located at 346 Broadway, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10013, to provide community-based supervision and case management services for inmates in New York City Department of Correction custody identified with mental health issues and assessed as posing low to moderate risk of flight or recidivism, who are court-mandated to the New York County Court-Based Intervention and Resource Team (CIRT) as an alternative to detention and/or -incarceration.  The contract term shall be from November 1, 2013 to June 30, 2016.  There shall be one provisional three-year renewal option from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019. The contract shall be in an amount not to exceed $4,695,000 and is being funded by City Tax Levy funds.  E-PIN #: 00213N0004001.

 

The proposed contract has been awarded by means of Negotiated Acquisition method, pursuant to Section 3-04(b)(2)(ii) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules. 

           

The proposed contract shall be available for inspection by members of the public between November 29, 2013 and December 12, 2013, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, during the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at One Centre Street, Room 1012N, New York, NY  10007.
