COMMUTER VAN SERVICE AUTHORITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Department of Transportation is conducting a public hearing on the expansion of vehicles of a Van Authority in the Borough of Queens. The van company requesting expansion is Citivan Lines Corp. The address is 117-28 165 Street, Jamaica, NY 11434. The applicant currently utilizes 14 vans daily to provide service 12 hours a day and is requesting an additional 10 vans.
There will be a public hearing held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Blvd., Room 213, Part 2, Kew Gardens, New York 11424 from 2:00pm– 4:00pm. In addition, written comments in support or in opposition to this application may be sent to Ms. Dorothy Szorc at the New York City Department of Transportation, Division of Traffic and Planning, 55 Water Street, 9th Floor, NY 10041 no later than November 15, 2013. Any written comments received after this date may not be considered. Those opposing the application must clearly specify why the proposed service will not meet present and/or future public convenience and necessity
