CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT RESOLUTIONS

Have been adopted by the City Planning Commission

Scheduling public hearings on the following matters to

be held in Spector Hall, 22 Reade Street, New York, NY,

on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.

NOTICE

 

On Wednesday, October 23th, at 10:00 A.M., in Spector Hall, at the Department of City Planning, 22 Reade Street, in Lower Manhattan, a public hearing is being held by the City Planning Commission in conjunction with the above ULURP hearing to receive comments related to a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) concerning a special permit, zoning map and text amendments and acquisition and disposition of city owned property for the Seaside Park and Community Arts Center in Brooklyn, Community District 13. The actions would facilitate an approximately 5,099 seat capacity amphitheater along the Coney Island Boardwalk.   The application also includes the acquisition of property by the City (Block 7071, Lots 27, 28, 30, 32, 34, 76, 130, 226 and 231) and disposition of City-owned properties (Block 7170, Lots 27, 28, 30, 32, 34, 76, 130, 142, 226 and 231). 

 

Comments are requested on the DEIS and will be accepted until Monday, November 4, 2013. The lead agency is the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. This hearing is being held pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR), CEQR No. 13DME014K.
