1. The Authority specifically reserves the right to enter into Agreement negotiations with, and award an Agreement to, a Proposer other than the Proposer presenting the lowest price.
2.Minimum Qualifications Requirements.
a)at least seven years of recent experience with the management of apartment buildings of the same type as those that the Proposer seeks to manage pursuant to this RFP. All management staff must have at least 2 years of continuous experience performing duties similar to those they will be performing under the Agreement; and
b) The Proposer must currently manage at least 1000 residential dwelling units located in the State of New York.
Description
The New York City Housing Authority (“NYCHA”) is seeking qualified professional property management firms to manage and maintain up to 3,719 housing units located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Private and not-for-profit property management firms are invited to submit proposals. The Request for Proposals (“RFP) can be downloaded off the internet by visiting the “Doing Business with NYCHA” section of NYCHA’s web site at www.nyc.gov/nycha. You may also pick up a hard copy or a CD version of the RFP between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. starting November 6, 2006 until November 20, 2006, at our Asset Management Office, 250 Broadway, 29th floor, New York, NY 10007.
