Description
DEP, Bureau of Water Supply, intends to enter into an Sole Source Agreement with upstate Freshwater Institute (UFI) for the Croton System Model Development and Protech. This contract will allow for the continuation of the development of the coupled hydrodynamic water quality reservoir models, which are important components of DEP`s Nutrient Management Eutrophication Modeling System (NMEMS). UFI has developed DEP`s present suite of reservoir water quality models. These models require major restructuring of the model program code, a task that can only be effectively carried out by UFI.
