SUBDIVISION, BUILDING 30 - BROOKLYN NAVY YARD – CSB – PIN# 011000000301 – DUE 02-05-03 AT 11:00 A.M. – Federal EDA Project Number: 01-01-07322. Rehabilitation Contract #4. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246 and No. 11375, which pertain to nondiscrimination in employment. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Bidding and Contract Documents. Any contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is expected to be funded in part by grants from the United States Economic Development Administration (EDA). The total federal funds included in project financing will be $1,430,000 representing 70% of total estimated Project costs, including design, construction, supervision, and management of the project. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. The successful Bidder must comply fully with the requirements, terms, and conditions of the U.S. Economic Development Administration Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) and Labor Surplus Area requirements. The Bidder Commits himself/herself to these requirements and any other requirements, terms, and conditions of the Bid Specifications by submitting a properly signed Bid. Cost of documentation: $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference on January 22, 2003 at 10 a.m. will result in bidder disqualification.
