Description

The Office of the District Attorney of New York county (DANY) has committed to investing funds through its Criminal Justice Investment Initiative (CJII) to support projects that improve public safety and fairness in the New York City criminal justice system. DANY invites proposals from qualified community-based organizations to run youth-focused summer programs that prevent gun violence.

All questions and requests for additional information concerning this RFP should be directed to: Bidsrfps@dany.nyc.gov with a copy to PavelicN@dany.nyc.gov. Please add "Gun Violence Prevention Initiative RFP Summer 2026" to the subject line of all emails regarding this RFP (including proposal submission).

Virtual Information Session: January 5, 2026, from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. EST. Questions must be submitted by January 6th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST to bidsrfps@dany.nyc.gov with a copy to PavelicN@dany.nyc.gov. Questions submitted after the Q&A due date will not receive a response. Answers to questions received will be made available as an addendum to this RFP. 

CORRECTION: Addendum 1 moves Virtual Information Session to January 15, 2026, from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. EST. Questions must be submitted by January 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Due date is moved to February 6, 2026.

CORRECTION 2: Addendum 2 includes published responses for the questions received.
