Description

New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYC Health + Hospitals) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the implementation and support of an Enterprise Interface Engine to enhance data exchange across NYC Health + Hospitals’ health system and with its external partners. NYC Health + Hospitals currently operates an enterprise interface engine managing approximately 1,100 interfaces spanning various application categories. To improve patient care and interconnectivity, NYC Health + Hospitals seeks to explore new solutions to replace the existing platform for all new interfaces and migrate existing ones.

As part of this initiative, NYC Health + Hospitals will also implement a Universal Enterprise Master Person Index (U-EMPI) to enable accurate and efficient matching of medical record numbers across facilities, systems, and external partners. The U-EMPI will provide a unified view of patients, providers, and associated clinical information, integrating clinical history, behavioral health status, and complex patient scenarios. This system will ensure comprehensive, accurate, and actionable data for both individual and population-level health management.
